Ludlow Dog Day 2024

Ludlow Rotary Club was delighted that Ludlow Dog Day 2024 took place on Sunday July 28th at Stokesay Court. We were very lucky with the weather which blessed us with sunshine. Our thanks to all the sponsors, display teams, volunteers and particularly the public and their wonderful dogs who came in their droves and took part in the events.

We were delighted to welcome back Natalie Brookshaw, from Ludlow NSpa, to present awards for the ‘Best in Show’, which was won by Craig Henn’s English Pointer, Stanley, and the ‘Reserve’, which went to Bella, a Jack Russell shown by Poppy & Millie Rea.

Dr Robert Hodge, President of the Ludlow Rotary Club, thanked the judges and all involved in the the day, for their hard work and contributions to what was once again a very enjoyable day for all who attended.

Classes – Every dog could take part, with over 20 classes to enter, from the waggiest tail to the best biscuit catcher.

Other Attractions – In addition to all the dogs, we humans were able to enjoy a range of food and drink, browse the stalls, whilst listening to wonderful music played by the Ludlow Concert Band and enjoying the beautiful setting of Stokesay Court in the heart of the Shropshire countryside.

In the coming weeks the Ludlow Rotary Club will announce the arrangements for the next Ludlow Dog Day.
