As a with all Dog Shows the last event is Best In Show.
River, 6 month old Duck Tolling Retriever. She’s a very clever girly who loves retrieving and swimming despite being partially sighted (blind in her left eye)
My name is Lucca, I’m nearly 9 years old and I’m an Italian Spinone.
Most Handsome Dog
Prettiest Bitch
Best Rescue Dog
First – Indie, our Romanian Rescue. We rescued her through High Hopes Dog Rescue in February. She is blind in one eye due to contracting parvo as a pup and just about scraped through after being found in a freezing cold, filthy dirty public shelter with her siblings. She’s the most loving dog who knows she’s found her forever home in our family 💜
Judges’ comment: Had to be Indie as she has been through so much already in her short life. She’s looking so doting at her owner and looks such a sweetie.
Second – Maesy Hello, my name is Maesy, I’m a Cocker Spaniel. I was rescued 18 months ago from a breeder in Northern Ireland but I’m now living with my mate Bailey and love to chase him around and go swimming. My real treat though is to curl up on my Mummy’s lap for loads of cuddles! I’m not sure how old I am but think about 3 1/2. My Mummy has made a donation.
Judges’ comment: Maesy looks as though she’s loving life and a very happy girl.
Third – Bronwen our rescue lurcher. She was found abandoned in a woods near Aberystwyth and we rehomed her through the vets we used to work at. She is the most gentle dog, gets on well with our 2 cats and 3 chickens. Her favourite activity is sofa surfing!
Judges’ comment: I love the fact she’s such a gentle girl and obviously has found a loving home.
Female with Most Beautiful Eyes
First – Sheba, 12-year-old Border Collie
Judge’s Comments: “Those beautiful eyes of blue. The dark background gives strength to the picture and attracts you to the Sheba’s eyes, which shine out like beacons.
Second – Bonnie, 4-year-old German Shepherd Husky X
Third – Sukie, 4-year-old Cockapoo
Male with the most Endearing Eyes
First – Kaiser, 5-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback
Judge’s Comments: “Dogs don’t need to speak to communicate with their owners. Each look and stare can speak a thousand words. I would guess our Kaiser is asking his owner for something (food maybe?) and who could resist those eyes.”
Second – Arthur, 1-year-old Galgo Español (Spanish sighthound)
Third – Harry, 13-year-old Parson Russell Terrier all the way from Crete
